WP Password Policy plugin updates released (Free: 3.7.1, PRO: 3.14.1): Login Screen Compatibility Fixes

Today we’re publishing new updates for both the free and PRO versions of WP Password Policy. This release resolves a login-screen conflict that could occur when another plugin passes an empty login message, fixes a password-strength display issue for bbPress in the PRO version, and refreshes internal dependencies to keep the plugin fast and reliable.

Shared Updates (Free 3.7.1 & PRO 3.14.1)

  • Login and password-change screen compatibility fix: We resolved an issue that could occur on the login and password-change screens when another plugin passes an empty login message. Sites running plugins that customize the login flow will now load these screens reliably.
  • Updated dependencies: Internal libraries and build tools have been refreshed.
  • General code improvements: Minor cleanups and refactoring to keep the codebase stable and maintainable.

PRO-Only Updates (3.14.1)

  • bbPress password-strength box fix: The bbPress profile page no longer shows an empty password-strength box, so users editing their profile through bbPress now see the correct password strength feedback.

You can download the latest versions of the WP Password Policy plugin directly from WordPress.org (Free version) or the Customer Portal (PRO version).
